I had lower back pain in early pregnancy and it was terrible. I couldn’t hardly move especially when in bed. First of all, do not lift anything! Do not bend either. If you need to get something from a low draw, or you need to carry laundry or something, get someone else to do it or leave it til someone is there to do it. Sit with cushions behind your back. Keep legs together when getting in and out of the car. Basically take things very easy so you do not strain yourself further. I tried physio, a brace, swimming, but none of these things worked.
