When I was a small boy I spent the summers playing around with my brothers in the backyard. One summer we were in a digging frame of mind and we dug several holes that we could climb into and use as supposed camps, foxholes and goodness only knows what else.

While we were digging those holes we came across various bits of man made materials and some were very interesting. I found several old medicine bottles and glass containers. Most were broen but one or two were in one piece.

I didn’t know anything about antique glass but I was excited at my discovery so I ket the bottles and over the years added a few more to my collection.

I have continued adding the odd item of antique glass ever since and have now built up quite a sizeable collection. I suppose some of them may be valuable but I am not interested in the money though if times get tough I could sell them.
