If you want to learn forex then your starting point must be to look for a good training course from the many hundreds of courses available today. But just what should a good course teach you?

Any decent forex training course should cover the basics of such things as terminology, the different types of order, margins, leverage, fundamental and technical analysis and the software and tools available for such things as charting. These, together with several more items, are essential before you venture into the world of trading.

More than this however a good course also needs to look in some detail at the psychology of trading and the need for and role of such things as patience, commitment and discipline. Additionally, it needs to provide you with real world experience through some form of apprenticeship program.
