I remember my officemate used to ask me if I wanted to buy her shares, her shares of the company where we both worked in.  I always declined because the value was decreasing every minute.   I asked her what is the real reason why is selling her shares and Trust Deed Notes, because in my opinion it is a loss for her and she should wait until the prices go up.  She said that she needed to pay for a family debt and that there are lawyers involved already. Well, I wanted to help her but it was not just a good investment for me too.
