I love a good tribal tattoo. They are so full of art and meaning, its crazy! I have seen basic ones that are small, and some that are huge and take up someones back. I prefer the smaller ones, but that is just me.

My favorite has to be the Samoan designs. They are just beautiful, and they stand for a great heritage. A lot of these tribal tattoo meanings can be researched before they are inked. Lots of the older tattoos were not done in a shop, but rather a ceremony where they use bamboo and bone to create the needle. OUCH!
