SMALL BUSINESSES DON’T ALWAYS PREPARE
A disturbing report has come out recently regarding the preparedness of companies that deal with a lot of important data and the report suggests that very few businesses actually have an active RAID data recovery plan. At least forty percent of the businesses who were surveyed had no active plan in place and a further fifteen percent of those surveyed also said that they didn’t have any plan in place at all. Some of the businesses that did have a backup plans did not go very far with those plans and did nothing more than implement a very minor recovery system that likely would not do the job in the case of a catastrophic data loss.
