Our hospital has limited staffs and we tried as much as possible to accommodate all the patients. Working for twenty hours straight with only four hours of sleep is really hard for me. We can’t complain because we know that we are badly needed. A long hour of work without rest is taking its toll on me. So to keep me awake all night and be alert in case of emergencies, I fill myself with coffee whenever I am already feeling tired and sleepy. It is a good thing that we have a melitta onE coffee maker at the hospital, so coffee comes really in a handy.
