An epilepsy research in Europe is done by the joint task force of the International League Against Epilepsy and IBE is aiming to encourage research and innovation in the prevention of epilepsy, early diagnosis of epilepsy and treatments for epilepsy. It is also aiming that the prioritization of epilepsy should be highly declared and it should be thought as a major disease in Europe, as well as to encourage the states that people with epilepsy should be given equal rights and to improve their quality of life. This joint task force also aims to introduce appropriate legislation to protect the rights of people with epilepsy so that they can live normally.
