The other day a friend of mine asked me to join her at a Yoga class. It is the latest thing she has discovered and is raving about. I have my own exercise schedule which I try to stick to but have always had an interest in Yoga and a desire to learn more. She claims that the combination of exercise and sweating is the ideal way to achieve weight loss through Yoga. The class is conducted in a warmed room which helps to raise the body temperature and encourage sweating. Part of the appeal of Yoga is that it is designed to have a cleansing effect by releasing toxins through the sweat pores.
