Did you know that certain machines can actually monitor a person’s oxygen level quickly?  A pulse oximeter does exactly that and there are even ones that are small enough to put in your pocket.  These are highly important because if you had a patient in critic condition you need something to monitor the blood oxygen level.  It can definitely make the difference if this person will live and plus you will know if you need to administer supplemental oxygen.  It is fanscinating how far technology has come and I am curious to see what the future holds for the medical field.
