Video Games Help Create Childhood Obesity
With so many people playing video games and computer games, it is no wonder that we have an obesity problem in the United States and around the world. When a child (or adult) is engrossed in a video game, they are not burning calories. It is as simple as that. And many people spend several hours a day playing video games! This creates a huge problem and adds to obesity in children. Instead of being active, these people are living a very sedentary lifestyle which is adding to their weight problem. If you spend more than a couple of hours per week playing video games, you need to trade some of those hours for some exercise to help shed those extra pounds.
