A central place to look for things for newcomers to your town would be great, and a good thing to add to this listing, is of course community daycare centers.  Another good thing to add is nearby doctors who will take on new patients, if you did not get a referral from your current doctor, or insurance company, which is always a good idea.  Finding key things like this when you move is a great idea.  It helps to make your move or transition to a new community easier, and much more stress free.  You might ask at your new towns Chamber of Commerce, and see if they have a newcomer’s packet, or information for newcomers.
