Raleigh, North Carolina boasts a number of amazing restaurants that give Triangle residents a taste of the South…and beyond!

On I-70, visit the Angus Barn Steakhouse, a beloved institution housed in a converted barn that offers some of the finest steak in the country.  If meat’s not your thing, don’t worry — the Irregardless on Hillsborough Street has one of the top-ranked vegetarian menus in the country, which is updated daily.

In the mood for seafood?  Well, you could always check out the 42nd Street Oyster Bar downtown, whose huge entrees are rivaled in popularity only by their famous hushpuppies.  While downtown, you could also check out Second Empire, known for its elegant four-star cuisine and its recently-added chef’s table.  Or, for a more casual experience, you could head on down to Tir Na Nog, Raleigh’s famous Irish-themed restaurant and pub. And if all you’re looking for is a burger and fries, look no further than Char-Grill, a Raleigh institution for old and young alike.

Raleigh has something for every taste — and the Raleigh real estate market has many new restaurants being built all the time.  If you’re heading into the area…take a moment to stop for a great meal.
