Okay. Here is the challenge. Name the most important element in flower care. Soil? Fertilizer? Water? Well, yes they are all crucial too. But you can have all these and guess what they will promote.  Yes. Weeds. The same soil and fertilizer and water that grows flowers will grow weeds. After all, weeds are just plants in the wrong place. All the best food and water in the world will not compensate for weeds because the weeds will suck up the nutrients and leave the flowers gasping. Besides, weeding is relaxing and good for the soul, especially if you do it by hand.
