When your baby is teething, she needs something hard to chew on. Sure you could go out and buy some teethers or teething biscuits, but I like the idea of making my own. It’s not nearly as hard as you may think and you probably have everything you need in your cubboard right now. When you look for instructions, try to find a no egg baby teether recipe. Young babies should not be fed anything that has any egg in it. If your baby is older, recipes with egg are fine.
Make sure you completely cool the teething biscuits before offering them to your baby and store the rest of them in an airtight container in a cool and dry space. Then just pull them out as needed. They also work great as a distraction or a little snack when you’re out and about with your child. Believe me, there a lot less messy than trying to prepare baby cereal and feeding it to your baby if you’re at the mall, the park or a friend’s house.
