Our family has been going through a crisis because my grandmother just passed away.  This was my father’s mother and we were all very close to her.  She always told me that when she passed on she wanted me to have her antique cherry wood dining room table.  Every time I would go over to her house I would polish it for her and make sure there were no scratches on it. She always told me that no one else in the family took as good care of the table as I did.  This way every time we sit down for a family dinner I will feel like she is with us.
