You have your worm farm all set up, but what do you feed your worms? What is the proper diet for Worm Farms? The general rule is anything that was alive at one time is ok to feed to the worms. But like any rule, there are exceptions. Some things that worms like to eat are apples, egg shells, cabbage, coffee grounds, tea bags and leaves, oatmeal, and lettuce. Things to avoid giving to your worms are things like citrus fruits, onions, meats, poultry, and dairy items. These have a tendency to attract unwanted guests to the farm. Grass clippings are questionable. Some say yes and some say no. Just remember the basic rule and the few exceptions and you and your worms should be fine.
