I’ve always had a hard time making pie crusts. They say that mastering a decent pie crust is one of the hardest things in the kitchen. Well, I’ve just never bothered, being scared of the process. However, I saw a great pie crust the other day on one of those cooking shows. It was a no roll, pat in the pan crust. I threw on my apron, looked up the recipe and gave it a go. And, you know what? I’m sold. I will never again waste money on those premade crusts from the grocery store. It really was as easy, as flaky and as delicious as they promised. Fool proof.
