My uncle Albert was a great man who used to work for the New York City railroad system. He was a conductor for over 25 years and loved his job. When he died last august, he made me the executor of his will which made me responsible for settling the affairs of his estate. If you are ever name executor, you must learn your executor duties. If you don’t learn and apply your duties you can get in big trouble. You could be sued by other family members and be taken in front of the probate court. Luckily for me, it never got serious because I learned what was involved and hired a probate attorney.
