A category to survey also known as a type to asbestos survey, it is very similar to a type 1 asbestos survey in which all part of the building will be inspected for the presence of asbestos.  The survey will also evaluate the potential hazard of the asbestos existing.  The speciality of a category to Asbestos survey, is that samples of asbestos will be taken from the building for further analysis.  This will also include aspects of the construction which are not certain whether they are asbestos or not.  In this way a full estimation of the extent of asbestos presents is evaluated as well and the potential hazard from that asbestos.
