I was in the middle of a great movie a few nights ago, and the picture suddenly went berserk. Thankfully, I have a Rear Projection Tv Troubleshooting guide.

First, I made sure everything was securely fastened, and plugged in. Then I started to make adjustments according to the guide.

Since the picture looked a little washed out, I looked it up in the guide, and that was the contrast settings. As is well known, contrast is a brightness compliment. The brightness was good, but it needed it’s compliment, contrast.

I looked at what the best contrast ratios were, and I made the adjustment, and restarted my movie.
